FTC Disclosure
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines (16 CFR Part 255), Loop and Twine is required to disclose that some of the links on this website are affiliate links.
What This Means
Loop and Twine participates in several affiliate marketing programs. This means that when you click on certain product links on our website and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission from the sale — at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our affiliate link or go directly to the retailer's website.
Why We Use Affiliate Links
Running a website involves real costs: hosting, domain fees, design tools, and the many hours spent writing tutorials and patterns. Affiliate commissions help us cover these costs and keep all of our crochet patterns and tutorials free for you.
Our Promise
We only recommend products and tools that we genuinely believe in and that we think will be helpful to our readers. Our opinions and recommendations are always our own and are never influenced by affiliate partnerships. We will never recommend an inferior product just because it pays a higher commission.
Affiliate Programs We Participate In
We may earn commissions from the following types of programs:
- Amazon Associates — Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com
- Yarn and craft supply retailers — various online craft stores
- Other craft and lifestyle brands — products relevant to crochet and making
How to Identify Affiliate Links
We strive to clearly identify affiliate links where practical. Posts containing affiliate links will typically include a disclosure notice near the top of the post. You can also assume that any link to a product on a retailer's website may be an affiliate link.
Your Trust Matters
We value your trust above all else. If you ever have questions about whether a link is an affiliate link or about a specific product recommendation, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@loopandtwine.com.
